Dr Jesica Mazza Stalder
Dr Jesica Mazza Stalder was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated as a medical doctor in 1995 at the University of Buenos Aires and worked at the Military Hospital where she trained in Internal Medicine and as a fellow in Pulmonary Medicine at the Favaloro Foundation.
She moved to Switzerland in 2001 and she completed her residency in Pulmonary Medicine at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and Geneva University Hospital (HUG). She currently works as a lung specialist at the University Hospital of Lausanne where she is responsible of the Mycobacterial Unit.
Her topics of interests and research are Respiratory Infectious Diseases, with a particular interest in Tuberculosis and Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria, Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis.
She also has responsibilities in Public Health in Vaud canton and works as a medical counselor of the VD Lung League.
